The theoretical knowledge and many years of research and design experience of the Unit’s staff allows us to offer cooperation/support in the following scopes:

• technical and economic analysis of fuel interchangeability in power generation systems,

• optimization of gaseous, liquid and solid fuel combustion processes in thermal and power generation equipment in terms of process efficiency and emission of harmful compounds,

• design/modernization of thermal and power equipment (gas burners, heat exchangers, energy recovery systems),

• optimization of heat exchange processes in energy equipment,

• energy auditing of plants, production technologies, machinery and thermal equipment,

• physical and chemical analysis of gaseous, liquid and solid fuels including biomass,

• numerical analysis of momentum and mass energy exchange processes, flow phenomena and combustion processes,

• measurements of emissions of toxic compounds and pollutants into the atmosphere,

• measurements of thermodynamic quantities (temperature, heat flux, flow) and calibration of measuring instruments.
